Terms & Conditions
By participating in Running off Christmas (the "Event") in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity (Registered charity no. 1160024) (the "Charity") you are deemed to have agreed to the following Terms and Conditions:

  • You understand that Everyday Hero Ltd (“Everyday Hero”) is an independent company to the Charity. By creating your account with Everyday Hero, you will also be agreeing to their terms and conditions, privacy policy and cookie policy which are available here: https://everydayhero.com/uk/terms/| https://everydayhero.com/uk/terms/privacy | https://everydayhero.com/uk/terms/cookies.
  • You are registering for, and taking part in the Event of your own volition and therefore confirm that your general state of health and fitness is good and that you understand that any injury sustained by you, which after investigation is deemed to be no fault of the Charity, shall be your own responsibility. For the avoidance of doubt, nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall attempt to limit or exclude, the Charity’s, liability for fraud, death or personal injury.
  • The Event is only open to those who are 16 years of age and over.
  • You understand that all information provided as part of the registration process is collected by Everyday Hero and passed to the Charity for the purpose of administering your participation in the event.
  • Should you choose to connect your Everyday Hero account with any third party website and/or a device, you accept that you do so at your own risk, and the Charity shall not be responsible for any data you provide them, or the terms and conditions you may be asked to accept.
  • By providing your details the Charity will contact you by email, SMS, telephone and mail about your fundraising and your participation in relation to the Event.
  • You understand that team captains are able to view the name and email addresses of all team members.
  • The Charity may contact you for marketing purposes by email, telephone, mobile telephone or text, but only if we have your permission to do so. We may also send you marketing by mail in line with our Privacy Policy, www.gosh/org/privacy.
  • We will always treat your personal details with the utmost care and will never sell or swap with other organisations for their marketing purposes. We will keep your details safe and private and you can change your communication preferences at any time by contacting us at 40 Bernard Street, London, WC1N 1LE, telephone 020 3841 3131 or supportercare@gosh.org.
  • For team captains, please ensure you have team members’ consent to provide the Charity with their details. Please also be aware that, by completing this form you are agreeing to the Terms and Conditions on behalf of everyone whose details you will be listing.
  • Individual Participants who raise over £100, excluding Gift Aid, by midnight (GMT, UK) 28 February 2020 ("Qualifying Participant"), will automatically receive a Running off Christmas medal in the post. If a Team raises the equivalent of £100 per team member, excluding Gift Aid, by midnight (GMT, UK) 28 February 2020, each member of that team will receive a Running off Christmas medal in the post.
  • All donations must be received either through Qualifying Participants' Running off Christmas Everyday Hero fundraising page or sent in via the post.
  • The medal is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered.
  • The Charity reserves the right to replace the medal with an alternative of equal or higher value in circumstances beyond the Charity's control makes it necessary to do so.
  • The Charity reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
  • The Charity accepts no responsibility for any errors due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, network or server failure of any kind.
  • Qualifying Participants must provide a residential postal address, in the United Kingdom, which includes a valid postcode ("Valid Postal Address") in order to claim their medal.
  • The medal will be sent via second class post, in March 2020, to the Valid Postal Address given upon registration to the Event, unless the Charity is updated otherwise.
  • The Charity accepts no responsibility for any medals that are lost, damaged or delayed in the post and can only send out a replacement if there are extra medals available.
  • Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion may be passed on to third party suppliers only insofar as required for fulfilment/delivery/arrangement of the medal.
  • The Charity reserves the right to make changes to these Terms and Conditions from time to time.
  • In the event of a conflict between these Terms and Conditions and any other terms and conditions on this website, or any other third-party websites associated or linked to via this one, then these Terms and Conditions shall prevail to the extent allowable by applicable law.
  • The Terms and Conditions and any dispute or claim between the parties arising out of or in connection with it or its subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Each party irrevocably agrees that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes or claims) arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions, or its subject matter or formation.

Terms and Conditions for Fundraising Prize Draw

1. The promoter of this Prize Draw (“Prize Draw”) is Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity, registered charity number 1160024 and company number 09338724, of 40 Bernard Street, London WC1N 1LE (the “Charity”).
2. The Prize Draw is open to all participants of Running Off Christmas 2020.
3. The Prize Draw is free to enter, and no purchase is necessary.
4. Participants will be automatically entered into the free Prize Draw on receipt of adding a donation on their Everydayhero fundraising page before 23.59 (GMT, UK) on 19th January 2020.
5. The closing date of the Prize Draw is 23.59 (GMT, UK) on 19th January 2020. Entries received after this time will not be accepted.
6. The Charity accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, network or server failure of any kind.
7. The winner will be chosen by random draw, from all entrants in the Prize Draw, supervised by an independent person after the closing time of 23.59 (GMT,UK) on 19th January 2020.
8. Two winners with receive 1 x pair of Lucy Locket Loves leggings each.
9. The winners will be notified by email or telephone before 17.00 (GMT, UK) on 24th January 2020. If the winner does not respond to the Charity within 7 days of being notified by the Charity, then the winner's prize will be forfeited and the Charity will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above. The winner must provide a residential postal address in the United Kingdom, which includes a valid postcode ("Valid Postal Address") in order to claim their prize.
10. Upon receipt of a Valid Postal Address, the prize will be sent to the winners by post within 28 days of being notified of their win. The Charity accepts no responsibility for the prize being lost, damaged or delayed in the post.
11. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered.
12. The Charity reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Charity's control makes it necessary to do so.
13. The decision of the Charity regarding any aspect of the Prize Draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
14. The winners’ names and county can be obtained by sending an email to alice.duport@gosh.org within 28 days of the closing date of the Prize Draw.
15. Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions upon entry. The Charity reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these Terms and Conditions.
16. The Charity reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
17. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Charity, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss or damage occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Charity, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected. For the avoidance of doubt, nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall limit or exclude the Charity’s liability for fraud, personal injury or death, which, after investigation, is found to have been howsoever caused by the Charity.
18. The winner may be required to participate in publicity related to the Prize Draw which may include the publication of their name and photograph in any media.
19. Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion may be passed on to third party suppliers only insofar as required for fulfilment/delivery/arrangement of the prize. Personal details will only be used for marketing purposes if you have consented to receive future marketing from the Charity (you may have already done this if you have registered your details with us previously). 20. The Charity reserves the right to make changes to these Terms and Conditions from time to time.
21. The Prize Draw, and these Terms and Conditions, and any dispute or claim between the parties arising out of or in connection with it or its subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales. Each party irrevocably agrees that the court of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes or claims) arising out of or in connection with the Lucy Locket Loves Free Prize Draw and / or these Terms and Conditions, or their subject matter or formation.

Running Off Christmas Top Fundraisers Prize Draw - Terms and Conditions  

· The promoter of this Prize Draw ("Prize Draw") is Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity, registered charity number 1160024 and company number 09338724, of 40 Bernard Street, London WC1N 1LE (the “Charity”).  

· The Prize Draw is open to all UK residents, aged 18 years or over, who registered to take part in Running Off Christmas (“Participants”). This is except for employees of the Charity, their families, agents or any third party directly associated with administration of the Prize Draw. 

· The Prize Draw is free to enter and no purchase is necessary.  

· Participants will be entered into the Prize Draw if they fundraise over £250 for Running Off Christmas by Saturday 29th February 2020. 

· The closing date of the Prize Draw is Midnight (GMT, UK) on Saturday 29th February 2020. Money raised after this date will not be included and those participants will not be entered into the Prize Draw.  

· The Charity accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, network or server failure of any kind.  

· Two winners will be chosen by random draw, from all entrants in the Prize Draw, supervised by an independent person after the closing time of Midnight (GMT, UK) on Saturday 29th February 2020.  

· Each winner will receive:  

1 x 12 month Pure Gym membership. Valid until February 2021. Can be redeemed at any nationwide Pure Gym. No cash alternative can be offered. Memberships cannot be transferred. Members are required to complete an on-line health declaration before attending the club by visiting www.puregym.com. Members must be 16 + years of age.

1 x Pair of Women’s Lucy Locket Loves Leggings

· If tickets are not used, they cannot be re-issued. Ticket expiry dates cannot be extended. Complimentary tickets will not be accepted if they are photocopied/damaged/defaced. The prize is subject to change and availability. The prize cannot be exchanged for the equivalent monetary value.  

· The winner will be notified by email or telephone before 5pm (GMT, UK) on Friday 6th March 2020. If the winner does not respond to the Charity within 7 days of being notified, then the winner's prize will be forfeited, and the Charity will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above. The winner must provide a residential postal address in the United Kingdom, which includes a valid postcode ("Valid Postal Address") in order to claim their prize.
